Fitting 4" vent with limited space for ducting

Options
Hi All,

I am fitting a bathroom extractor with an inline fan in my attic and would like the vent to be positioned in the ceiling over the shower cubicle. However, the shower is build into a dorma window, so there is very limited access from above. I should be able to feed the duct in from the main attic but will not have room to access and attach the duct to the vent from above.

Can anyone recommend a ceiling vent that has a flange large enough to allow me to feed the end of the duct down into the bathroom, attach to the vent and then position and fix the vent to the ceiling from below.

Thanks in advance.

Have a look at rectangular rigid ducting - You can get round to rectangular connectors as well as a number of bends and adapters. The flexi, springy stuff is OK for very short runs, but it does reduce the air flow quite considerably.
