How do you close

Options
a Tessa and a Savings Account for a person that has passed away, do you need to produce Death Certificates to the bank or what do they require as proof to enable you to close the account.

    Options
    You will need to register the death certificate with each bank where an account is held. This will freeze the account.
    To release the money the banks will need to see a Grant of Probate if there is a will, or a Grant of Letters of Administration where there is no will.
