    :o Hello.

I have no idea where the last week has gone, time is flying.

Not quite on budget for the month - I have dipped into next months budget for xmas presents as I have come across some bargains/offers.

I have purchased xmas presents for my god-daughter, OH niece and three bits for LO. All were part of offers and one was almost half price (£50 down to £26.50).

Last weekends OT was cancelled, but I have put my name down for some extra hours this Sunday (will just need to see whether this comes through).

    Good Morning,

Just stopping by with a quick payday update.

:o Last month ended in the negative

:D Paid this morning and all accounts now balanced (including payment for some xmas and birthday presents).

    :) £250 sent to savings
    :) £266.29 sent to mortgage

I managed to pick up last Sunday as overtime, instead of taking the money, I have taken TOIL to cover a hospital appointment next month.

I have added to the coffers this week by picking up a few hours OT here and there - about 6 hours total, as I have been working an hour or two extra each day. Today will be the last day of overtime for a couple of weeks, as I need to concentrate on things at home (lots of occassions/dance shows etc coming round).

Family Loan on track to be paid off next month :j We are both really happy about this.

    Good Morning.

Today will be a spendy day as we need food and petrol. A total of £100 has been budgetted.

I spent some money on the CC yesterday as I came across some tribute band tickets and a play based on a Julia Donaldson book which has ticked a couple more people off of my xmas list.

The rest of the week M-F will be NSD's.

Shopping and petrol top up has been done today and £100 budget was spent, with a couple of £'s to spare.

The shopping also covered a halloween treat, some sparklers for bonfire night (for before we go to a local display) and 5 birthday cards.

I also saw one of LO's xmas presents, so that was bought and paid for with CC (all budgeted for next months salary). LO now has everything we agreed.

We buy something she wants, something she needs and something to read. We usually also buy something to wear, but as she's just had to have new clothes following a growth spurt, there's no need.

I hope everyone has a good week.

    .

Love Julia Donaldson books - and they convert well to stage, in my experience - have seen the Gruffalo, Gruffalo's Child and Room on the Broom on stage - all were fantastic! :)

I agree, we went to see 'What the Ladybird Heard' last year and LO loved it.

We have also booked for her to see 101 Dalmatians in January and the cost of this will be covered by xmas cash gifts from family. We have asked for some 'experience gifts' that we think will benefit LO as well as her having a few toys.

In other news, I am now able to reveal why I have been absolutely shocking with my budget over the last couple of months - the family is expanding :D Morning sickness and tiredness meant whatever was easy had to be done.

OH and I had lunch together after our scan yesterday and it was lovely to be able to sit down and discuss our goals for the end of this year as well as 2018. I was glad that we were both on the same page in terms of direction.

Thanks for your well wishes :) Baby is due April - weirdly they reckon the day after LO birthday

We have decided to find out gender, as we have some girls clothes from when LO was smaller. Still have the cot and changing table, so the main bits are in the room, we will need is a new car seat for size 0-1. Could do with going through stuff over the next couple of months to make a list and keep an eye out for deals.

Christmas shopping is coming along and OH and I have agreed not to buy gifts for each other this year, as we don't want/need anything. We will send £50 to savings and £50 to Mortgage instead (this is the usual xmas present budget for each other).

Having to get some basic repairs done in the house over the next couple of months, around electrics and plumbing - you know the kind of stuff that if you put it off, it will cause bigger issues. Best to get it done and sorted whilst we are both still working.

The work will be cash flowed, so that we don't have to touch the savings.

Jobs for today are underway, I still need to get changed, 1 load of washing, ironing and 1 family visit.
