For those in council tax arrears that are getting payments taken from their income support what happens once your income support stops? Universal credit is another benefit is it interlinked?

Unless DWP have changed the way they work then whether or not they port it over directly is hit and miss - some attachment are transferred, others are ended and need to be set up again.

I see it states they DWP or Council do not need your consent or signature to take money from your benefits doesn't that violate the law and human rights?

It's written in to Law that they can deduct benefits to a certain percentage for some things! All without you agreeing.

It's not law its their version of parliamentary legislation they claim its the law, they can take your kids away without your consent as well its happening hundreds of times per day by social workers.
