Halifax S.D reduced fees

Options
Hi, novice question.
Halifax share dealing are having a reduced fee session on the 11 December.
Can you tell me, does this only apply to the purchase of individual shares or does it cover funds?
The point is question, Vanguard L.S. 60%
Thanks.
I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.

    You can buy funds using a one off regular investment for £2 so even cheaper than the once a month cheap dealing fee.

    Select regular investment then in the drop down box select one off. I use it all the time to reinvest dividend for £2. Usually 3 fixed days a month you just line up your buy deal for the next due day. I think the next is 17th Dec then 20th and 31st, which is unusual as they is normally one in the next weekish whenever I have used it.

    If you use iWeb instead of Halifax Share Dealing, you will get reduced dealing charges all the time; well about half the regular Halifax cost. Funny thing is iWeb are also owned by Halifax.

    EdGasket, thanks for the info.
    The thing is, at best I only dump a lump sum in to my account about twice a year VLS 60% and then just forget about it.
    So the cost to do that is not much at the end of the day.

    Great tip Tom99, many thanks !
    Also the scheme isn't just limited to buying Funds; there are various ETFs and shares available to buy (although sadly for me VWRL is not there - it comes up as VWRP only).
