didn't asda out up prices just before the 2p tax increase anyway? so aren't they now just dropping them to what they had them at before. big con?0

DOes cutting prices by less than 2% really count as 'slashing'? Feels more like trimming to me.0

That was the 2p increase if I remember rightly. [STRIKE]Sensationalist reporting at its finest. lol[/STRIKE] Admittedly. For those around the country that pay more than 107.9p for fuel, this is more of a slash as the article does state that the MAXIMUM drivers will pay for petrol is 102.9p. 5p/L is quite a lot. For the rest of us that pay a bit less for fuel (Currently 103.9p at my local Shell garage), we will feel the impact of this cut a whole lot less.0 -
Here are our tips:
Walk or take public transport.
lol
i already use asda for my fuel, and have their credit card so i get 1p a litre off too, and it's round the corner from work, and it's the cheapest in the area anyway.
Asda really are starting to lead the way, but i'm not sure i can reduce my fuel bill much more0 -
The only rip off merchants are this government, petrol has risen 3 times in 8 months, and will rise in January when vat goes up again. If Darling wanted to be a 'darling' he could of let vat sink to 15% for petrol , but no he exempted it. When it rises he will put more vat on though. The motorist is an easy target! speed cameras being another prime example!0
