IVA completed - are we still liable?
Options
My husband and I were in an IVA and received a certificate of completion in December 2015; the administrator has now written to us stating that if we receive any PPI reimbursement we are legally bound to hand it over to them to pay into the IVA. I would like some assurance that this is misguided as all of our creditors agreed settlement figures within the IVA which has been satisfied. Can anyone advise?

Did you pay 100% of the debt and full IVA fees? Or was it part settlement to all the creditors and full IVA fees?
If the former, you are entitled to your PPI.
If the latter the PPI goes to the IVA company for distribution to your creditors and additional IVA fees for doing it.
Sadly, your IVA company are correct.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear it in 2026.0 -
