    AH HA!

    Another happy day in the life of me!
    Told my area manager I was leaving today! And it felt gooooooooooooood!!

    Another no spend for me, Im getting quite good at these.
    Fledgling social life started avec Peaches, my gig nerd!

    BF behaving himself and really REALLY looking forward to friend coming up to stay at the weekend, best get tidying!

    Yeah managed to tell her I'd be looking to move out.

    Dont think she knew what to say and looked really shocked.........

    which I find surprising in itself!
    I'm glad Ive told her though. Its gonna be the best thing for me. Just got to wait for end of tenancy or unless she decides to move out!

    Or likelihood of landlord releasing me from tenancy early?

    Since you hadn't kicked up a right royal stink about it, she probably managed to convince herself her behaviour was acceptable to you.

    How long is your tenancy? Got any ideas where you want to move? Is your new job very far from your exisiting one?

    Unlikely unless you have someone lined up to take your place. You are, after all, a little money pot to your landlord.

    very true! I dont have anyone lined up to take my place.....

    My tenancy is 6 months, so should be up in January.
    Plus I'll have to find a deposit till my old one is released.

    New job is still in town centre, so would need to be walkable distance and thats bout it really!
    I actually want to move as soon as possible but obv' am tied to it!

    Well January gives you plenty of time to save up for a deposit.

    Has this place been a "good deal" or are there similarly priced ones out there?

    Well we had a rent increase so this place, even though the bedrooms are big, is now pretty much on par,

    but I could get a house, 2 double bedrooms, with a garden for the same price now, and one where I wouldnt have to walk through a car park to get to my front door!

    We're in a first floor flat at the mo!

    Sounds definately like it's right to move, even excluding the shrieking flatmate.

    So get saving...

    Don't overdo Christmas...
