Homelet credit check query?

Options
Hi.
I have searched the forums and seen mixed answers so wanted to see an up to date answer :D

I have had a marriage breakdown and now moving from my own home to renting. My estate agent is doing checks through a company called homelet. I have a few defaults on my file and a low credit score. Turning a corner on my finances now though but obviously takes time to show on my credit file!!

My question is will Homelet see my full file for the likes of defaults or is it solely the public information they see? I have no CCJs or bankruptcy. There seems to be a bit of mixed responses on it as to whether they do a full check or not. I just dont want to get my hopes up for this flat if I am going to be rejected.

Thanks :D

    Hey,

I know you posted this a while ago but am intrigued as to how your checks turned out?

Just about to go through Homelet for a rental property and I have defaults on my account registered in 2017 and am worried it won't go through.

    Thanks
