welcome finance ppi

Options
just a query i had a car loan from welcome finance sometime between 1999 - 2003 but not sure if i was mis-sold ppi or that as i do not have the relevant paperwork after all this time as i sold the car on afterwards, just wondered if anyone else back from this time did, and has succesfully claimed ppi back? or give me any tips on how to go about it as they are not covered by the fca before 2011.

many thanks

The car dealer is liable for the complaint. Not the lender. Only if the lender's own staff were involved does the lender become liable. You mention car loan so that suggests car dealer.

Car dealers were not regulated until Jan 2005.
