Inevitable I know, but still frustrating when you move to the cheapest provider then they announce a price-rise some weeks later :(

If you've got a fixed tariff then they wont change, it will only be variable tariffs that will be affected.
Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers

They don't do fixed tariffs... They have 1 tariff which is variable.

Yes it's annoying, my switch to them only competed a few days ago and now it's time to switch again!

Curious to know who as they are still the cheapest for me? Except powershop but they seem to have mixed reviews..

must be annoying after spending so much time researching , and having money tied up to find that a person on pre pay , without having money tied up is only paying

    gas
    27.19p per day
    3.563p per kWh.

    electric
    28.96p per day
    14.200p per kWh

It will either be Northumbria Energy who are £61 cheaper for me (not on MSE, but the meerkats include them) or Utility Point who are just £9 cheaper but on an 18 month fixed tariff.

I had a good look at Powershop but it seems like lots of hassle for a relatively small potential saving.

My switch from Outfox the Market has just gone through.

Seeing this email and obviously my first thoughts are likely the same as everyone else who's just switched from OTM.

Still, my new prices are a fair bit more than those in the table above (around 0.5p per unit higher on both electric and gas, and 1p higher on both standing charges).

If people's energy still come within the top 10 cheapest I'll stick with them as its likely inevitable others will be following suit. Otherwise it looks like I'll have to switch again.
