    Probably best to turn water off. Your insurer may also require it.

    Provided there's plenty of water in the header tank the boiler will run quite happily. If you aren't running the boiler you should drain the whole system down to prevent burst pipes.
    A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.
