PPI rejected for 30 day cancellation?

Options
Hey
I have a PPI claim with has been rejected under their reasons of '30 Day Cancellation - No Premiums Paid or Premiums Refunded' Is this allowed under PPI claim law? I mean can the bank do this? Should I just accept? What to do?
I have a signed Loan certificate which includes PPI from 2001, does this not mean I have had a loan with PPI even though it is signed by me and the bank? confused

    Of course it's allowed.

If you didn't pay premiums, how could anything be refunded?

1 - There is no PPI claim law
2 - If you cancelled the policy within the 30 days and didn't pay any premiums then there is nothing to refund.

Yes. And its completely logical that they have. No other outcome would make sense.

What were you claiming for if you cancelled the PPI within 30 days and didn't pay any premiums?

My guess is that they didn’t know it was cancelled in the 30 day cooling off period prior to complaining.
    helpful tips
    it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
    their - 'owned by them'
    they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)

Their reference to "PPI claim law" would seem to bear out your hypothesis.. :)
