Hey, quick pop in while I'm feeding DS2 I can hear DS1 trashing the living room but I'm trying to tackle getting DS2 to sleep upstairs so not a lot I can do.

I spent £12 on some leggings I get free delivery with my Tesco saver account. I keep staying in pjs in the house as jeans are to uncomfortable when playing with the boys but it's making me feel really lazy and slobbish so treated myself.

£15 spent on a perfume gift set I saw in the sale which will go away for a friends birthday at some point.

I haven't made many plans so for so I had a bit of spare cash. I now have £70 to last until 14th I'm going to soft play Friday so this will be probably £20 with lunch. This is my only real plans so far. DP is off Wednesday and DS1 has an appointment with a specialist has he's been suffering really bad when he has colds so we think he has asthma. He's been cooped up all week while poorly so we may head to soft play after the appointment so that'll be another £20 ish if DP doesn't pay. Then I'll probably plan a soft play date to catch up with some friends next week. So I should stay in budget.

Day at home today pottering around and entertained the boys then we have friends over for lunch tomorrow but I've a Tesco shop coming in the morning so will have plenty of food in to knock up a little tea party lunch for us all.

Planning on ebaying a few bits I have lying around at nap time.

I have a bug bag of maternity clothes. I was dead set DS2 was my last but when I think about selling them I can't bring myself to do it. Hummmm!

Quick pop in while feeding DS2.

I was meant to be popping to the local pub with a friend tonight but she's cancelled so that's money saved. Also going to soft play tomorrow and had accounted for lunch out but my friend has started weaning and wants to get home for lunch so Moreno money saved there. I decided to order a friends birthday gift for next month so £25 spent today on perfum.

I have £30 left until next Friday. With only soft play planned tomorrow ill probably plan something next week but I'll keep it in budget.

I've set up a new savings account I have a lot more free pocket money now DS1 is at preschool as I'm not paying to go out and about with him as often so I decided when I've got a few spare £'s I'll throw them in here towards DP's Birthday/Christmas presents. He never buys himself anything and all our technology is getting out dated so I'd love to surprise him with a new iPad or play station. We shall see how the saving goes. X

I know what you mean about not being able to get rid of maternity things yet. I've always wanted 3 children, but if we were to have number 3 it would mean a new car, children sharing a room (not that it's the end of the world) and would also mean one of them would miss out on things/experiences as the age difference between ds1 and dc3 would be too big. After having ds2, dh and I spoke and said that chances are we won't have number 3. But..............my maternity things are being bagged to go back up the attic, and once ds2 grows out of his clothes, they will also go back up the attic. I'm not ready to say no more yet! It's too final!!........who knows what the future will bring!

It's a shame you can't go out with your friend, but saving money is always good. Good idea about the savings account. I'm sure your dp will be chuffed if you manage to save up to get him an ipad or something for his birthday. Good luck!

I am still wearing some of my mat Jeans and DD is nearly two - they are a bit baggy and son't look great but are SOOO comfy! - but it's the ones with an over the bump bit - just love them!! Even considering buying some more when they wear out - love the tummy warmth!!

You'll know when you feel ready - We had 4 losses before DD, and initially when I managed to get DD's pregancy past 12 weeks, I was like "i can have another now as well" but by the end of the pregnancy with the stress of it all, I felt happy to say we had got our rainbow and should be grateful for all we have - I have a SS too - so we are a family of 4 and like MrsSave, when you start to think about costs and practicalities it just all added up for me. Perhaps if I was younger it would be different!

I gifted all my maternity leave to someone who needed it and it was a good day!

How is DS2 doing? I hope you manage to get the bottom of his issues - must be worrying for you xx

You gifted you maternity leave?!?!?! I hope that a typo? And you mean clothes?

I'm 99% sure I'm happy with two. If I had another one I'd want it soon as want them to be close in age to we can all go out and enjoy the same day trips. But until we buy a house I wouldn't want another one so guessing we're done. Plus I'm tired ! So tired! I should bite the bullet and sell ds's baby clothes as he's growing out of them.

Ds'2 is doing well now thanks we have a specialist appointment next week for him so hopefully get some more answers.

Not much to report money wise £5 spent Friday at soft play I have £30 ish left in the bank and nothing planned yet. I'm feeling really tired too so probably won't plan muchnext week. May go out Wednesday when DP is off work to help. It's just hard work going out with both of them alone.

A friend came round for the day today which was nice she doesn't have kids so was great to be at home and have s good catch up at nap time. Ds'2 slept 3 hours!! Whoop! We chatted money and she was saying her finances are a bit of a mess. Talked her through a bit about how I manage my money now and this forum helping etc and she said she need to bit the bullet and face it head on. It's made me refelect on how far I've come. My debt is going down and not up, I have an end date in sight, I have savings, I'm in control and no longer dread logging onto my banking!! I've come a long way. :0) feeling positive and determined to stick at it and reach my debt free day!! Xx

I told her too. She said she'd go home and take a look at her finances. I said she's welcome to come round next weekend if she needs help and we can do a soa and get it all in order etc. Hoping she does it's scary getting it all down on paper and looking at the big picture but it doesn't take long to feel in control. I'll keep nagging her xx

Soooo few money bits to report. Popped to boots to get a £8.40 prescription refund as I didn't receive my mat card in time. Spent £6 in the cake shop. Pizza Hut for lunch but DP paid....I didn't realise he'd tipped on the card £4 so I left £2.50 ha ha oops!! Lucky waiters today!

Then we went to look at a new car!!!!!!! My current one is 54 plate and the mot is due in march and we're scared! The clutch is going and we're thinking maybe it's best to get a newer one the pcp ones where you pay for half thon car then swap after three years. It's a bit like renting a car. We've always brought old cars in the mind set it will be cheaper but they always go on credit cards or a load which is a monthly payment then we save £40 a month to cover mot's and tax but that's never enough....also the petrol consumption on ours is 30 mpg and a new one would be 60 ish so it would essentially cut out petrol costing in half and with me returning to work which is a 30 mile round trip it'll make a difference.....hum going to look at finances later and weigh up the pros and cons....

Ok ok ok we are not buying the new car yet....we are going to buy a house!!! It'll take a bit of work over the next few months but everything will
Hopefully fall into place. My head is spinning from it all now so I'm off to bed but will update the plan when I get a chance. X
