if you have a look at the rear of the modem, you may see
a usb and a ethernet socket on the back, which is being used?

CD arrived on the Sat just gone said it would be sent on the Thurs
so 2 days, the cd is your working platform you work from this cd

basically your pc runs from this cd not your current operating
system i.e Windows XP, this means that no files are ever stored on your
pc from your work, and also work files will never affect the way your pc runs.

When you turn your pc on at the moment it loads the system files that
are stored on your hard disk and that gives you your windows, so what happens with the workbooth cd it becomes a virtual hard-disk if you like,
its like having a 2nd computer but when you don't have the disk in your
pc will just be as it was before

    I have found a job on monster.co.uk
it's tech support for teletech on behalf of Sky broadband,
    it's not massive money £6ph but it's a genuine
job that homeworkers can do min of 20hrs a week

    http://www.hirepoint.com/athome

Thanks for sharing the details of this job, it would suit a lot of us down to the ground I would imagine!

I have a quick question for you :D I have filled in the application form and had an email to acknowledge it. I was just wondering how long it took until you recieved the next email to check your pc is up to the job?

Also, do they make an appt to ring for the telephone interview or just call? I hope they give you a bit of warning, so I can park the kids in front of mindless tv with a bowl of unhealthy snacks to keep them quiet :D

    Thanks,

    MBM x

    Hi MBM,
I filled the web application in last Tuesday morning then got a email with a link to the pc test page in the evening, on the Wednesday i got a email saying they would like to talk to me more and would call between
1-6 on the Thursday they didn't call till Friday although the lady was very
nice and apologized for not being able to call on the Thurs, she did ask if
it was a convenient time to talk so i guess you can make an arrangement for
a recall if you need to.

bare in mind there in the USA so don't expect anything to happen till
    after 1pm

I had my first phone call from the States this afternoon, where he took my reference details and checked I was eligible to work in UK etc... then I got sent the Online test to check my Data Entry and computer skills.. which I have sent back.. so tomorrow I have another phone interview at 3pm!!!

Thanks again Oliver... we will probably all be training together... well in groups as I am sure I read that somewhere...
