I have just gone and logged into my Outlook mail, and the whole look has changed and I do not like it one bit. I cannot seem to focus on anything (I have a slight vision problem), and stuff which I have deleted (or sent to junk mail) seems to have appeared again.
Does anyone know if I can change this back to the previous format?

It's called an 'upgrade' (don't look this word up in the dictionary, as the meaning changed a few years ago :p )

You may have opted into the Beta. You can toggle the switch top right to switch between Old Outlook and New Outlook (old Outlook has the black bar by default across the top whereas in New Outlook it's more blue). Though of course the themes are changeable so that may not be an actual useful rule of thumb.
