WhatsApp on iPad again

I just spoke to a sales person in the tablet/computers area at John Lewis and they claimed there is now an app in the Ipad App Store that allows you to use WhatsApp on the iPad by linking it to your phone’s WhatsApp id.

But in the time allowed he couldn’t find it. He said the filter for searching needs to be set to iPhone only. Strange. He also said the app was one of those which has a screen zoom button x2 etc like the app for the Lotto.

Any ideas the name of the app he’s referring to?

I use an app called Wzpad. It's a proper iPad app, not a iPhone one.

Er, unless I am missing something, this is just a copy of the messages on the phone, not a working app. The same thing goes back a while by a Safari hack accessing a WhatsApp tool off their web site (using desktop mode) and used by linking to the phones WhatsApp account.

I think Wzpad is doing the same thing in an app.

This is not the app the man at JL was referring to. The one he is on about is an iPhone app run in the iPad, hence the zooming business...
