I want 50 tiles putting up in our kitchen they are 15x7.5cm. Been told it’s half a days work and will cost £75 excluding tiles and all materials such as grout and adhesive.

£75 seem cheap enough. Its when tiles need cutting that takes the time.0

That is very cheap, maybe too cheap?"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Also you don't normally grout until the adhesive has set so usually next day or so.0

I!!!8217;ve had 3 quotes all about the same price. No one has mentioned needing to come back the next day to let the adhesive dry should I be concerned?0

Dar too cheap.
That quote isn't from a professional tiler!!Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
Far too cheap? It's only around 0.6m2. If it's a flat wall with no or few cuts it won't take a pro long at all. Presumably they'll use cement adhesive, so grouting the same day will be fine - it's the ready mixed stuff that needs air. A very reasonable quote.4.7kWp (12 * Hyundai S395VG) facing more or less S + 3.6kW Growatt inverter + 6.5kWh Growatt battery. SE London/Kent. Fitted 03/22 £1,025/kW + battery £24950

£75 is too cheap because he has to allow for a days work, a bigger job will be charged by the m2, I would have expected at least double that quoteI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
A fair price based on what you've told us.0
