Fraudulent Lending Stream account affecting credit score

Options
There's a Lending Stream account that definitely isn't mine showing up on my Noddle credit report. It's adversely affecting my credit score. After contacting LS about it, they agreed it was fraudulent, but won't disassociate it from me without a crime reference number. They told me to report it to Action Fraud, who would give me a CRN. However Action Fraud haven't even acknowledged my report, which was made months ago. I am completely stuck between Action Fraud and Lending Stream over an account that isn't mine, and I don't know what to do. Weirdly, the fraudulent LS account does not show up on my Experian credit report, which shows my credit rating as very good. I'm baffled! Has anyone been in a similar situation, or does anyone have any advice on who else I could contact to get the LS account taken off my report, please?

Thanks so much!

Have you contacted AF using another way ?
Maybe give this a try, get the crn and pass it onto LS.

Dont worry about your score/rating since no 1 else can see it, lenders see your credit history.

Make a formal complaint and then escalate to FOS if needed. Also raise a dispute with the CRAs where it appears.

That's not weird. That means they don't report to Experian.

You don't have a credit score, so ignore that. Just worry about getting the account off your files.

    Remember to also check Equifax.

    Hi there

I would also recommend contacting Action fraud again, you can call them on 0300 123 2040. Once you have the crime reference number it should be straight forward enough to give this to Lending Stream and get the account removed from your credit file. I hope you can get it sorted quickly.
