full and final IVA
Options
Hi I know this has probably been explained in depth and i like to think Im an intelligent woman (just obviously not where money is concerned!) but my question is - earlier this year I completed a full and final IVA meaning I released equity from my property rather than paying any monthly amount and received my letter of completion in June, does this stay on my credit file for 6 years or can I pay to take it off as it was a one off settlement? Thanks.

Hi nic1171
The IVA will be listed on your credit file as 'Settled' for 6 years.
As far as I'm aware there's no way round it.
