Hi there,
Can someone please help me. I will shortly be receiving roughly £80 000. I do not want to use this money and at this moment I do not want to invest it either. I am just looking for the best bank account to put it in, with the best interest rates and be able to access it if necessary. The accessing bit can be in a couple years but not too long. Any help would be great as I do not know we here to start. Thank you.

You have not mentioned that you would be comfortable with FD or just want to invest in savings deposit account as the rate of interest differs. I have a saving account of mine in Synchrony Bank which avails 2.35% APY at minimum deposit of $2,000.HNY:A0

Freddie, as mentioned before, this is a UK forum and so USA savings accounts aren't likely to help the OP.I am an Independent Financial Adviser.
