Yes, Attendance Allowance is one of the benefits that qualify for claiming Carer's Allowance.

If you are eligible you need to check whether your mum is receiving a means tested benefit (pension credit for example) and whether she is receiving a severe disability premium with the benefit.
if you claimed CA for her she would lose this money (about £60 a week)0 -
You also need to find out what other benefits your mother claims. If she lives alone and climbs means-tested benefits then she could potentially lose money0
