Cordless phones with nuisance call blocking

I'm after a good set of cordless phones that have the ability to block unwanted and nuisance calls. It's for my 76 year old dad who is forever being plagued by nuisance calls, the latest being those recorded scam BT calls stating that the line will be cancelled if he doesn't press 1 etc, he's been receiving this call 2 or 3 times a day for the past few days.

There are shedloads of them on Amazon from BT, Panasonic, Gigaset etc, etc, about 10 pages full all with varying degrees of call blocking capabilities. Probably best place to get an idea of what you want and the price you might want to pay.

We bought a BT 8600 over a year ago and haven't had any unwanted calls since!
Easy to set up and has an answerphone as well.
