M&S Card

I have had a M&S card (fee free and 0% on BTs for 9 months) for stoozing for about 4 months now. The credit limit wasn't great (£3000) but as it was the fourth one I applied for in quite a short space of time, I figured I was pushing my luck anyway.
I rang up today to see if they would bump up the limit for me, so I could take advantage of a bit of extra stoozing for the final few months. The lady in the indian call centre managed to get me an extra £1000, but also said that the extra BT I could get with this was itself at 0% for a further 9 months from today rather than until the original 9 month offer ended! I got her to confirm this a couple of times, as I wanted to be sure she wasn't mistaken (and that her english was good enough to fully comprehend the offer!).
So something to look out for if you have an M&S card. Not quite sure how repayments work - I'll have to check that when I pay off the first £3000 next February, that I am not inadvertantly paying off the newer BT first.

If I had a pound for every time I didn't play the lottery...

Good luck with this one, but just watch out for the "sting in the tail". As you will know, the M&S BT was only fee-free on this deal for the first 30 days after "opening the account".0

Thanks for the warning - I did check with her firmly that my new BT didn't incur any fees which she confirmed. I hope she knew what she was talking about!
As I recall I think this was a "special offer" which apparently included a further 9 months at 0% and no fees. If I had had my head screwed on properly, it might have been worth seeing if I could repay my whole balance and then try and transfer it all out again for a new 9 months on the whole whack! If I had a pound for every time I didn't play the lottery...0
