Claiming Income Related JSA and just put in a claim for Carers Allowance

Options
Hi all, I need some advice. I am currently claiming Income Related JSA as I was made redundant at the start of the year and because my father was successful on his DLA to PIP claim and has been awarded daily living I am now going to be his carer. I have filled out the online form at Gov UK but I was wondering what will happen with the JSA?

I know I won't be able to meet the JSA requirements of job seeking but when I filled out the form it did not ask what benefit I am on or say what would happen when I get CA or how much. I know it is £64 something, but that is less than what I get on JSA now.

I guess I will have to come off JSA, but I know we have gone full UC in my area so would I have to make a claim for UC as Income Support is not available. I don't know if I will be given this option as I can't job search.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Anthony
