Please can some one shed a bit of light on the private land side of these tickets....
We parked our scaffolding vehicle on a chip shop car park, due to rush hour traffic and pedestrian volume, as we were scaffolding a small tower at the neighbouring property.
The landowner saw us parked there and contacted the company instead of speaking with us (we had looked for people when we parked but as was 8am no one in shop)
When receiving the ticket we spoke to the officer, who politely told us the ticket was issued so valid, and to appeal.. he took notes on our situation and even took a photo to try help.
We appealed and found the picture was used against us, appeal was rejected and we went to arbitration, which was found to be in their favour as we were on private land.
We only parked there for safety reasons as parking on the road was dangerous as it is 30ft from a roundabout and was at peak traffic time.
Normal traffic wardens don't even bother with scaffolding vehicles in Norwich......
what should we do....as driver has been named??

IPC members, appeals process a sham, not (currently) litigious.
Read NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #4 about Debt Collectors - the phase of this sc@m you're about to enter. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Unfortunately you have fallen into the trap of thinking these are legitimate companies with proper rules and regulations, they are not.
The "officer":rotfl: is just part of the scam dressed up to look real, in reality just a low paid commission hungry muppet, that will just say anything to get his bonus, and avoid conflict.
These are not real wardens.
The landowner will no doubt be on a £10 commission for every successful charge paid, so why would he give you any help either.
You are now in ignore mode, but come back in the unlikely even these idiots try a court claim.0 -

You should never have tried the widely-perceived 'kangaroo court' of IAS (not shown to be independent at all) look:

Now you know! You had no chance and he wasn't 'trying to help'. Having said that, no-one here pays these fake PCNs unless a Judge tells them to (no big deal).

''apparently run by Andre who is studying to be a lawyer.''
Dunno about you but I'm seriously underwhelmed by some random bully boy 'look at me' wannabe lawyer. He used to post here I think, pretended he was different. None of these firms are different. Ignore debt collector letters. As already said, come back if you get a court claim but you can see from that link, they are not known for it and are small fry, a couple of thousand PCNs issued p.a. is a tiny business compared to the monsters of this 'industry'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
