Hi all,
appreciate any help with this.
I am moving to Ireland in November.
I currently have money in a UK Stocks and Shares ISA. If I continue to buy shares and hopefully make gains after I move, will I be able to sell those shares and transfer the proceeds to Ireland without incurring additional tax?
Thanks

I presume you mean the ROI and not Northern Ireland. So you will be non-resident in the UK. In that case you can keep ISA's going but can't add additional funds. As far as I know there is no tax to pay to move your money abroad; just use a good FX company; NOT the bank which will charge a lot.0

Uk prob nil but .. is your question what tax will you have to pay on it in the ROI?0

Thanks guys, appreciate the replies. Yes, I mean ROI.
Yes, my question is, if I keep making money within my Shares ISA will I have to pay any tax in ROI when I sell shares and withdraw money to my bank account.
I understand I cannot add funds to my ISA once I leave the UK.0 -

Depending on where you go an ISA can be subject to tax in that country.0 -

Hi there Hoggy
I am in a similar position now to the one you were in over a year ago. I was wondering what you managed to find our or did in the end about your ISA?
Thanks0
