Discounted Attractions In Cornwall

Options
Just got back from holiday in Cornwall. A lot of attractions offer discounts for disabled and carers. A couple that spring to mind, Newquay zoo, usually £17 each, show blue badge and disabled person pays £13.50 and the cater goes free. Very similar price structure at the Cornish seal sanctuary. It’s worth photographing your blue badge and keeping it on your phone to show them on entry.

It’s also worth joining the National Trust, disabled person pays £6 a month but you can get an essential companion card. Loads of car parks with fantastic sea views are owned by the Trust. We save money on parking alone. Then you have all the properties and gardens.

It’s correct that you don’t need to join. But if like us you visit NT properties or beaches more than a handful of times, it’s a lot cheaper to join. When we’re in Cornwall, 3 -4 times a year, we visit the gardens houses and beaches.
