A Level Student - new subject

Hi
My daughter is having to drop a subject as of now, and the only way she can get her 3rd A Level (without having to do this first year over again) is to study privately. The college won't let her change subjects at this late stage, but will let her continue with 2 A Levels + non qualification hours.
Is this just a case that she'll have to pay for the new course out of her own pocket (her choice - her expense)?

Are there any state run colleges around that will let her pick up one A level, either during the day or in the evening. I know of a few six form students who have stayed at school for A levels and then taken a third subject at the local further education college.I'm a Forum Ambassador on The Coronavirus Boards as well as the housing, mortgages and student money saving boards.
