Photo Orientation Wrong when Uploading Photos - Windows 10

Hi
I've recently upgraded my laptop to Windows 10.
I often upload photos to online sites like ebay etc.
On my old version of Windows I'd save my photos to laptop and "rotate" the ones that were taken in Portrait mode on the camera so that when uploaded they would appear in the correct orientation.
Since the upgrade to Windows 10, even though I've rotated the photos on the laptop (in File explorer) (and they appear correctly there), when I upload them to sites they upload sideways.
Please does anyone know what I can do to fix this and hopefully stop it from happening in the future?
Many thanks.

Some sites may rotate them for display purposes. Your computer screen is wider than it is longer.0
