    audi a4 3.0 quattro

I'm sure the word "car" would have been sufficient here

In this case defining the car has a relevance. ;)

Surprised I even have to spell it out to be honest .... insurance cost (which was the item being discussed) for a, for example, Nissan Micra 1.0L (or whatever the base model is) will be vastly different versus an "audi a4 3.0 quattro".

But the car model was mentioned in post #3 and insurance first raises its head 14 posts later. The item being discussed was if the OP has the car or not.

Forgive me if I'm being dense but surely when you make a commitment to a car contract you'd want to be sure about what you're signing and what it means? Can you not just ask them to confirm if the car is now yours and the steps from here? Seems like the easiest thing to do.

Don't be daft, it's much easier to post some vague information on here and ask a load of strangers instead.

Generally speaking, if some one wants you to sign some thing best know what it's for.
