Almost decided what funds to invest in:
Wife - how has low appetite for risk
ISA - L&G Multi Index 4 Acc (preferred geographic & asset split and inclusion of property into mix over VGLS 40)
SIPP - Vanguard Lifestrategy 80 (30yr to retirement)
The Daddy - Bigger appetite for risk (or just desirous for bigger return)
ISA - Undecided but its between Blackrock Consensus 85 or Vanguard LS 80 (slightly prefer BR mix over VG but not much in it)
SIPP - VG LS 100 (20yr to retirement)
All funds will have 1K to open then drip fed monthly
(SIPPs @ £100per month + £25 tax relief)
(ISAs @£250per month)
Was ready to pull the trigger this weekend then seen news tonight.
Those Euro paupers Greece that don't / can't pay back their debt gives you that feeling oh is this going to be the match that lights a forest fire and triggers the shares price correction.
Then read this article:

Interesting reading.
Wife now wants to wait 6 weeks and see how this pan out. Don't suppose waiting a few weeks will do any real harm.

Why not just crack on with the monthly payments. You could defer the lump sum but with a 20-30 yr outlook I wouldn't worry too much about trying to time the market...0
