Being made redundant and entitled to 12 weeks statutory notice.
Company is only giving four weeks notice plus 8 weeks PILON.
Will the termination date for redundancy calculation purposes be the date at the end of the four weeks notice given or the end of the twelve weeks notice entitled to?
Or should PILON compensate for the additional redundancy amount that would be qualified for if the date was the end of the 12 weeks?

The relevant date used for service to calculate redundancy includes statutory notice if that would be later than the termination date.
you use that date and work back full years to get the service elements and the age related elements.
2 key dates are birthday and service anniversary if either falls within the statutory notice then this can increase the statutory redundancy payment.
