Town holiday apartment

my husband and I have a week in mid march. I like self catering with some eating out. I live in somerset so I would like to stay within say 150 ish miles or less.
staying in a coastal town would be good even above shops and cafes so I can people watch (not in a creepy way LOL) has anyone stayed or know of anything like this. Thanks:)

Falmouth is good for apartments (and lots to do there, too. 3 beaches, gardens and all the attractions of Cornwall within reach)
