PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE ISSUE 111 FROM THE DR0P DOWN MENU.'...luck came to those who left a space for it.' Terry Pratchett0 -
Whenever I enter these competitions, it never asks me to choose an issue from a drop down box??
I just enter the competition ID code, in the search box, it brings it up and it asks for my answer. Click enter and I get a green tick.
Am I doing something wrong? How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.31% of current retirement "pot" (as at end March 2024)0 -
29 "thanks" but no one's answered my question!!
Anyone??How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.31% of current retirement "pot" (as at end March 2024)0 -

Are you logged in at the site?
The link provided by the OP takes you to the correct page, and I click the yellow 'login to enter' link. Then make sure that the correct competition number is showing, then check the correct ID.
Hope that helps, perhaps others have some suggestions.0 -
As far as I know once you see the green tick you know you have been entered.I find the green tick a useful way to know if I have entered the competition already because it shows up if I try to re-enter.
I usually find the links from here take you right into the competition you are entering--just remember to check the comp. Id0 -
So is the "choose the right issue from the drop down box" irrelevant?
If so, why does each post mention it?How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.31% of current retirement "pot" (as at end March 2024)3 -
Both methods work.2

No, you are not doing anything wrong, you are just accessing each comp in a different way to most people. Some would say your way is better.
You are starting at the main competition page where putting in the ID code takes you direct to that comp whereas the links used by the posters take you to the individual Mag page where you do have to be careful to select the correct issue.
As long as you have the ID code your way is perfectly OK and if you understand it and it works for you, keep doing it.3
