This sounds like you're not landing on the page from the link provided, are you clicking on the links given in the posts on here?
The links provided take you to the magazines' entry pages but sometimes there are more than one issue live, therefore you have to select the correct issue.
This link https://www.puzzler.com/competitions/ seems more like how you're getting to the comps, which is fine, it's not "wrong" just a longer way of doing it, being as the direct link has already been provided

You are starting at the main competition page where putting in the ID code takes you direct to that comp whereas the links used by the posters take you to the individual Mag page where you do have to be careful to select the correct issue.
As long as you have the ID code your way is perfectly OK and if you understand it and it works for you, keep doing it.

I don't follow the links, I just log in and then search for each comp via the ID.

Still haven't won nowt though!!!;)

I’ve got 29 thanks too but none of them are from you, I’m not particularly bothered myself but I notice that you have only thanked some of the other answers to your questions, coupled with the lack of “please (could someone help)” and “thanks (in advance)” on your posts, perhaps that’s what you’re doing wrong and of course that here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?f=215 is where you should have asked (apologies to all those subscribed to this post, for the extra emails!)

Please would someone kindly remind me how to receive the emails for this - I get TAB and puzzler.com every Monday with the week's messages. I didn't get an email today for puzzler.com, and see there was a comp listed on 3 Jan (#540). I would like to check if I'm listed to received, or cancel and sign up again to make sure. Perhaps it's due to the forum reconfiguring happening next month! Thanks

go to thread tools at top, click on subscribe (if already subscribed click unsubscribe) then click on receive instant e mail notification (as opposed to weekly (which you are probably on now) hth
