Dacia automatic EDC gearboxes

I see that Dacia are now offering EDC gearboxes on Dusters - are they OK ?
They are apparently Renault design VW DSG equivalent ...
Do Dacia offer Torque Converters on any of their models?

    They are the same gearboxes as on the rest of the Renault range, no better or worse...

    They do not offer any TC gearboxes - in fact, this automatic gearbox is a first for Dacia!

    It will be the same double clutch Getrag unit fitted to the Twingo and smarts.

    That is correct from what I read. The gearbox seems to be very good, smooth and does not affect the fuel economy much. If the gearbox will still be in one piece in 10 years time when the car will be on 150k miles it's another question. Who knows?

    Maintenance is key - make sure you change the fluid at least as often as it says in the manual, ideally sooner.
