How to disinfect a floor mop

I find it so easy cleaning our wooden floors with a traditional mop over an electric steam cleaning. I know the mop head is full of germs after every mop so I want to start disinfecting it after each mop. Would 500ml of vinegar and 500ml of boiling water do the trick? Many thanks.

What fluid are you using to mop?
That should have some disinfecting properties just use that, then make sure the mop can dry.
They are fairly cheap, some under £1, so you can change regular enough.0 -
THanks for your reply, we use a vileda mop so not ideal to replace after each mop (aiming to mop weekly:j).
