Tax credits and housing benefit

Please can you help me with regards to how tax credits may affect our housing benefit. We have just been advised we are now entitled to £21 per week tax credits WOW!! But Noone can seem to advise on if and how that would affect or housing benefit entitlement. We are not sure whether to turn down this entitlement by adjusting our details or what to do?
Partner earns £30,000 per year
3 dependents born before 2017
No other benefits or salary.
We live in London and rent is £1900 per month.

accept the tax credits - basic calculation is if your income (including tax credits) increases, your Housing Benefit will decrease, but you will be better off, if only by a little amount...
if £21pw is the extra amount, your HB will drop by around £13.65pw - so you will be £around £8pw better off with tax credits, in your scenario
