Here's the challange - £365 in 365 days.
The aim: to put in £1 in a day from 1st January 2010- empty it on 31st December 2010 and spend spend spend in January 2011 sales.

People are attempting this in many ways - feel free to take your pick or create your own:
Put £1/ £2/ £5/ £10 at intervals into a money box.
 Transfer £1/ £2/ £5/ £10 at intervals into an online savings account.

You CAN include any extra money you wish as you go along.

You can choose to end earlier if you wish to use the money for Christmas.

    Hey,
    I like the sound of this one!
    For the next month I am only buying, reduced price fruit/veg, so hopefully I am able to do this.
    Have already decided today that I am going to save up for a wardrobe, rather than getting into debt, so it looks like it will not take forever to lose my "floordrobe" after all.

    My new years resolution is so stop all ebay purchases as I have FAR too many clothes as it is.
    I bought a lovely pair of boots of ebay then decided that I needed a few long winter skirts to go with the boots. I now own about 12 skirts.
    I really need help!

    Ow yeah and I also am trying to not buy any bath products that will linger in the bathroom for evermore as well till I have used up what I already have.

    I do this anyway... was able to bag up £225 at the start of December plus some Euro (anything not big enough for a bag goes back in the pot for next year - so if you need £5 in 10p pieces but only have £3.20, it goes back in the pot. Same with £10 in 50p/20p and so on!)

    Really handy for just before christmas - nice wee bonus!

    My 2009 resolution was this.............. it lasted till Jan 5th when I discovered Ethel Austin sold my favourite fruity "I love....." range at a silly cheap price......... Now to use these up.

    My biggest problem is that I use them a few times and then get bored with them!
    So to get around this I now have about 10 bottles open all at the same time and use all of them at the same time its working better that way.
