Aww, I have just put one of my fermentation vessels into recycling as I just dont have room. Anything you want to know, just ask away, and I have a scratter if you do end up doing it and need to borrow it. I have a great crop of apples, and for the first time my new(ish) pear tree has loads of pears on..shame I wont be there to enjoy the crop :( so no cider for me this year, but still have a good few bottles from the last 3 years maturing nicely. I only have a few bottles of it a month.

    I haven't a clue what a scratter is:rotfl:

This sounds like a very ill timed house move:eek:

You could always sneak back and nick the apples. You should know the best place to climb the fence:rotfl:

    Morning paw sniffers:D

Thank goodness it seems a little cooler today. I've totally ran out of ideas of how to stay cool in a hot office.
    It's debilitating:o

Those quarry tiles have been down for over 25 years!

Being a person of an age to have a free bus pass:eek: every thing we do now is with the idea that we won't have to do it again. Unfortunately the grumpy one still has a tendency to 'make do' or to use up things he has been given. I'm all for money saving, but I'm insisting on some quality again.

OMG I live with your husbands' twin!

We have lived here for 28 years now so the kitchen needs doing.. and like I said it maybe just this time...hopefully new one will last another 28 years....

If you replace your kitchen, we will need photographs x

I have to admit my kitchen is 23 years old.... I have no intention of changing it. It is a very elite kitchen as I went to auction and bought doors, MDF and cupboard inserts (£50 in total). OH found a belfast sink :D and when he was at a dock and talking about wood (as you do) he was shown 100 year old iroko.... which he bought for £100 and made worktops/drainage, two railway sleepers @ £3 each, slate floor (£40), the wall tiles I made.

The most expensive thing was the paint for the doors!

Great temperature for gardening:D:o if only:o:)

Ex battery hens are arriving on 1st September. I've never had experience with ex batts before but apparently they can't put themselves to bed as they have no concept of outdoor life:o They have to be taken inside initially until they adjust.

    Poor things:o

There are 5 very lucky ones out there about to find their dream home.
    Photos will follow:)
