Thanks for the reminder about the Ribena, I 'played' once this morning and got a free bottle.

Also thanks izzey for the milk, I'll definitely be making use of that today!

Had no end of problems using these vouchers, Sada were most unhelful even though the comp was on the bottles they sell. Refused point blank because the vouchers didnt scan!

Great temperature for gardening:D:o if only:o:)

Ex battery hens are arriving on 1st September. I've never had experience with ex batts before but apparently they can't put themselves to bed as they have no concept of outdoor life:o They have to be taken inside initially until they adjust.

    Poor things:o

There are 5 very lucky ones out there about to find their dream home.
    Photos will follow:)

    That's lovely, 5 rescue hens.:T

Thanks, would you be able to share a link to the eBay good ones please?

Sorry, seems to have disappeared/ If you search extra deep fitted sheets you should have some luck.

If you replace your kitchen, we will need photographs x

I have to admit my kitchen is 23 years old.... I have no intention of changing it. It is a very elite kitchen as I went to auction and bought doors, MDF and cupboard inserts (£50 in total). OH found a belfast sink :D and when he was at a dock and talking about wood (as you do) he was shown 100 year old iroko.... which he bought for £100 and made worktops/drainage, two railway sleepers @ £3 each, slate floor (£40), the wall tiles I made.

The most expensive thing was the paint for the doors!

I would love to have a tree to make things from, especially one like that :D And that was young for that tree  Hope the person that cut it down survived though

Our kitchen must be 33 years old. We bought it from a joiners when we first moved in here, it is still perfectly alright. I have changed the door handles, got some solid brass ones off Ebay for a silly price :D
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

    Lovely.
    Happy Cat Day Jasmine. X

The cat who I thought was a stray, who lives the next street away now just walks in.
Boldly sits meowing waiting to be fed!
The hot weather is not helping as I leave the back door open then can't get him out.

T receipts are worse, you can never read them and the cash back sites regularly reject them.

    Right I'm off.
Hope everyone has a good day.

  • On COS there I've got E&J Brandy. If you buy from AvT it should work out as £9.60.
