Frankly I find this downright rude.
So is not acknowledging help when it's given. For example, you had exactly the same concerns (and exactly the same lack of willpower) about this savings plan 3 years ago...

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?p=71290500#post71290500

...yet have continued to invest in it!

You were given advice in that thread (specifically S&S ISAs and regular savers...recognise a theme here?), yet you neither thanked the respondents nor posted further. So to quote you...
I won't bother asking in future if ignorant responses like this is what I get.
...perhaps people seeing your post will take the same view. There'd only be one loser.

And finally, what on earth riled you about that post?

    Every option has risks.

If you dont take enough investment risk, you then suffer inflation risk and shortfall risk. Risk is not on or off. It is a sliding scale.

Taking too much investment risk is silly. However, not taking any investment risk can be silly as well. Its all about finding the sensible amount to take for the objective involved.

£100,000 will be worth about £67,000 in 10 years time if you draw the interest/income. It will still say £100,000 on the statement but it wouldnt have that spending power any more. And the interest/income it generates wouldn't have the spending power either.

So, going with cash savings for long term regular contributions can actually be riskier than going with medium risk investments when you take all risks into account.

Yeah, whatever pal. You made your own point.

This forum is rubbish anyway, so I have asked to have the account deleted.

The forum would be rubbish when you ask questions but ignore the responses and are rude to those responding.

10 threads started and not a single "thank you" to any respondents on any of them.

Someone who thinks they need to take all their possessions out of Hotel rooms in case the staff steal them :)

I don't usually bite on this kind of thing, but your attitude towards people trying to help with your queries is atrocious.

    Bye.

OP has also now deleted most of their posts on several threads

Now that does make this forum rubbish:(.

It also shows how childish some posters can be, when they get answers they don't want to hear.

He asked for it to be deleted.

Probably for the best as they didnt seem to understand the concept of conversation. Such as asking a question and getting an answer.
