Trying a quick car sale
Options
Hi all,
I need to sell my car fairly quickly, I was wondering if anyone can please take a look at my ad and give any advice on whether I've priced it correctly and if there is anything in the description that could put the buyers off?
I can not put a link here but the ad number in autotrader is "201810141480237"
/classified/advert/201810141480237 just add this at the end of the autotrader link
Many thanks

You're £500 MORE than the one other private sale petrol Accord on Auto Trader. That one has fewer miles which some people will see as a plus.
Quick sales usually mean lower prices than the competition, not +10%!0 -
Can you please tell me which ad number?
I was thinking I'm the lowest price0 -
I can see only one that is in Aberdeen and it's not same spec as mine.
but after I'm the lowest and highest spec in south0 -
Well you're both similar distance from where I live so if I was interested I'd be going for the cheapest (depending on a couple of other factors - service history etc). At that age and price a couple of differences in spec don't matter to most people.0

have you had any experience with wewantanycar? they offered 5260 or so,
Do you think how much they would chip the actual price when they come?0 -

Depending how perfect your car is will depend how much they slice off their first valuation.
If you want a quick sale you need to be £500+ cheaper than the cheapest private sale and £1000-£1500 cheaper than the cheapest trade sale.0 -
FWIW when i wanted to get rid on a quick sale i got £400 more (£14k -> £14,400) from Evans Halshaw than webuyanycar.0

You say "long MOT (8 months)" - but the under seven months until it expires is barely over half-way. Put a new ticket on it.
The photos are abysmal. Can you not get it out of the car park to somewhere you can take better pics?
Apart from that, as people have said... price.0 -
"Quick sale cause i'm moving" Put me off already unless I offer you £2000 for it.
Real camera??
Well looked after and cared for Silver ?? So something silver was cared for but not the car?
Leather seat, heated seat...... Just the one..
So poorly worded with typo's. I would move onto the next car with correct spelling even if it was £500 more or further away.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
