    I have been attempting to open a HiSave account also, but am not impressed with ICICI so far and would like to cancel the opening of my account, how do you think I should go about doing this?
    £2 CSC = £50 (from 09/09/06)

    Savings = £102 (YBS Account)

    It depends how far you have got. Have you sent them a cheque yet?

    ICICI pays the interest monthly with the BM one being on anniversary.

    Then you can probably just e-mail them to let them know you won't be going through with the application.

    Haven't seen anything to beat that. Yet.

    Only if your willing to change accounts after a year as the 5.2% includes a bonus of 0.65% payable for the first 12 months.
    AND
    ICICI Bank guarantee that the Gross interest rate will be at least 0.25% above the Bank of England base rate until 31st December 2007.

    Sure, but that's a difference of, what, 3-4 months? ;)

    Well I've got my ICICI and I'm sticking with it, but I guess that's cuz I can't be bothered moving to BM. I've never had any problems with ICICI
    Indecision is the key to flexibility :)
