Had my old vax carpet washer replaced with a brand-new one under the 6 year warrenty in May 2019 which was great untill this new machine has also now broken and only 6 months old but as my warrenty expired in October 2019 they have told me they is nothing they can do about it or even offered to try and fix this one surely they should last longer than 6 months I have only used it twice.

    A warranty doesn't provide new-for-old cover indefinitely. You got a six year warranty and you've had (just over) six years' use of the washer (and its replacement) for your money. That's fair.
