I left college in 2005 started at university in September 2005 paying the £3000 tuition fees but in the December I dropped out, unhappy with my course, and reapplied for September 2006. When I returned to university September 2006 I paid the new £9000 tuition fees. Recently I found out because I was in the 2005 cohort I shouldn't have paid that so technically I am owed £6000. Obviously it was a long time ago so probably nothing I can do but thought I might check!

Did you pay upfront or as part of a student loan package?0

You can ask, but the debt will likely be statute barred by now.0

Don't you mean £1,000 and £3,000? £3k fees came in in September 2006. If you started a new course from then you would be subject to the new arrangements (including the 25 year loan write off that came in in 2006).0 -

Maybe the OP means that's what they paid for the whole course? Assuming 3 year course.YNWA
