Options
Hi folks. I have had some chorizo in the fridge since jast Sunday when I made the Hairy Bikers Spanish chicken. Does it keep for a couple of weeks in the fridge, can I freeze it now or should I bin it ?
Thanks

If it’s a whole chorizo, or part of, it’ll keep for ages. If it’s sliced it should keep ok, but I’d pop it in the freezer to protect it from drying out too much.

Wrap it tightly in cling film and put it in the freezer. It should keep for several months there without worry.

Yes, we freeze it all the while, just pop in a food bag. Defrost overnight as needed.

If it's a whole one, slice before freezing so you can use as needed.

It will keep for months in the fridge, it's the same as salami. As long as it's wrapped in something that's not going to cause condensation you can keep it for months. It won't dry out much either because it's already dried. Cover the end [ the rest should already have a cover on it whether it's plastic or stonach/intestine lining.
Shampoo? No thanks, I'll have real poo...
