OH has a small businesses plan with EE now BT. He is off to US tomorrow with a friend. How does he get a roaming plan set up on his phone. (Have looked on line but there are all sorts of different plans depending on whether it is an old EE site old BT site or whatever the search engine throws up. Not clear on what current way to set it up.)
Anyone know the latest arrangements for BT/EE customers to set up US roaming for a short trip there?

O2 are not BT/EE so it's unlikely to be of much use.
For data BT do a Travel Pass that works in the USA costing £6 a day for 500MB, but I can't see anything that would reduce call/text costs, and I'm not sure that the Travel Pass is available on a business account.

He's probably left it too late to get an alternative such as the Three option described at point 2 in the MSE guide.

Oops sorry must have had o2 in mind. I would have also recommended three for their feel at home plan.0

BT may be the same as EE in sending you a text after your phone connects to a foreign network, offering daily data tariff and a link to set it up. I always ignore it, having much better options, but a bit late now for that...Evolution, not revolution0

Two options; Daily for £4 a day or Monthly, £10 for 250 minutes, 250 texts and 250MB.
Unfortunately the information is rather confusing, since another link has different pricing; https://ee.co.uk/business/small/help/products-and-services/roaming1/
Perhaps if you are on another tariff.
So best to call and ask about information behind both links.0 -
I phoned and spoke to a very helpful lady in Greenock and got it all set up.0

Why not help other people with the same question and tell us just what it is that was set up?0
