Working out how much I am due

Hi first post on here, I've claimed on my Capital One card which I've had PPI on since June 2004 and generally pay off in full each month. Initially they dismissed the claim and made a Previn offer, which I disputed and they subsequently came back with a final offer. The two payments come to £2312.43, I've been able to calculate that I have paid £2198.10 in PPI. My question is how do I calculate how much I should have received back as it seems lower than I thought it would be with the 8% interest, less the tax of course. TIA

The refund process is defined by the regulator, sums you did or indeed, sums posted on a forum do not have any weight at all. You can ask them for their calculations and if they have done a refund based on assumptions due to lack of records and you can supply complete records of your own, they will look at it again.
The refund rules are as below
